A cantora norte-americana Lady Gaga venceu nas três categorias em que foi indicada da 30ª edição do Brit Awards, grande festa da música britânica. A estrela pop ganhou os prêmios de Melhor Álbum Internacional, com “The Fame”, Melhor Cantora Internacional e Revelação Internacional. A cerimônia de premiação aconteceu nesta terça-feira, dia 30, no Earls Court, em Londres.

Com um vestido branco e uma grande peruca da mesma cor, sob um chapéu bizarro, Lady Gaga apresentou o evento ao lado de Robbie Wiliams, que não ganhou como Melhor Cantor, mas recebeu um prêmio especial por sua contribuição destacada à música.
A última vez que um grupo ou artista não britânico conquistou três estatuetas foi em 2005, quando o Scissor Sisters foi o grande vencedor dos prêmios Brit Awards.
Nesta edição, em que a premiação completa 30 anos, os organizadores criaram duas categorias especiais, uma delas para reconhecer o melhor show em cerimônias nessas três décadas. A vencedora foi a banda Spice Girls, pela interpretação de “Wanabe” / “Who do You Think You Are”, em 1997. O segundo prêmio especial premiou o melhor álbum desses 30 anos, que ficou com Oasis, por (What's The Story) Morning Glory, de 1995.
