Líder de indicações, a cantora norte-americana Katy Perry foi o destaque do VMA 2011 (Video Music Awards), levando para casa o prêmio de melhor clipe do ano por "Firework".

A cerimônia da 28ª edição VMA, premiação do canal MTV dedicada aos melhores vídeos musicais do ano, foi realizada neste domingo, dia 28, no teatro Nokia, em Los Angeles.

A premiação contou com uma homenagem à Amy Winehouse, morta em 23 de julho, apresentada por Russell Brand.
